Our History

From Tent Meetings to Today

The story of Pineville Independent Bible Church reaches back to 1932, when the first services of Pineville Chapel were held on the lawn of a local resident. The following summer, a tent was erected and meetings continued as God blessed the ministry of the Word.

In 1938, the congregation purchased the old Community Hall. After extensive renovations, the building was dedicated on May 15, 1938 as Pineville Chapel. From those early days, the church has been committed to the clear preaching of Scripture, warm fellowship, and active outreach in the Pineville / Buckingham / New Hope area.

A Merged Ministry

In January 2014, Pineville Chapel merged with More-View Bible Church. The merged congregation eventually took the name Pineville Independent Bible Church, reflecting both our history and our commitment to remain an independent, fundamental Bible church.

Over the decades, the church has:

  • Gathered faithfully for worship, prayer, and Bible study

  • Supported local and foreign missionaries

  • Conducted outreach ministries such as summer Bible school and nursing home services

All of this has been done with one goal: to glorify God and make Christ known.

Looking Ahead

Today, under the leadership of Pastor Raimer Lindow, Pineville Independent Bible Church continues that same mission. Building on a heritage of faithful preaching – including the example of men like his grandfather, Dr. Ken Lindow, who has pastored churches, written Bible commentaries, and served in Christian broadcasting – we desire to remain a clear, steady Gospel witness in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, until the Lord returns.
